Keto Friendly Peanut Butter Chocolate Fat Bombs

Since my transformation back in December, I must say I am super proud of how far I have come. I reached my goal weight by simply following a 1200 calorie diet and a lot of exercise. As my body got used to the same routine I took somewhat of a break and figured I should enjoy whats left of my summer and I have

gained a few pounds but hey thats the beauty of this lifestyle there is no destination. Its a constant change and I truly love it! Well now that my birthday is coming up in October I am ready to transform my body yet again and this time I’m doing it the low carb way. Ive tried many times these past couple of weeks to get it right but today I can say my mindset is where it needs to be to stick to this plan to see the change I want to see. As my sweet tooth attack happened I had to search for a craving killer. So a good friend of mine shared a recipe with me to try. Let me just say I am sooooooo thankful she did! I did make some modifications and I’m going to share the recipe I followed with the ingredients I used. I hope you can use this as a guide to keep you on track as well!

RECIPE:

1/2 Cup of Organic Coconut Oil
1/2 Cup of Natural Peanut Butter or Almond Butter
(I used 1/2 cup of powdered peanut butter )
(Less than 5 grams of sugar is important)
2 to 3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons of Splenda or Stevia 
(or sweeten to taste)
A dash of Vanilla extract (Optional)

1. In a large pan heat and melt your coconut oil and peanut butter.
2. Stir in your cocoa powder and splenda.
3. Once removed from the heat you may add your vanilla extract. 
4. Pour into silicone candy molds or even small cupcake holders.
Each mold or holder should hold one tablespoon of the mix.
Place in the freezer and until you have chocolate candy looking deliciousness.

You can eat one fat bomb when that sweet tooth craving starts or if you want to curb your appetite.

80 calories
 1.5 grams of Protein 
1.8 Carbs 
9 grams of Fat

Also you should keep them zip locked air tight and in the fridge or freezer as they will melt being at room temperature.

Green Machine Juicing Recipe

Yesterday evening I decided to do a 3 day Juice diet to cleanse myself of all the toxic foods I indulged over the holidays! This morning I started with
a simple green machine juice! I was not sure how it would taste because I added Broccoli! Well I must say it was delicious!

I made this Juice using the ingredients in the picture and a Juicer Machine.
To make this you will need:
1. 1 Broccoli Stalk
2. 1 Large Pear
3. 1 Green Apple
4. 4 Celery Stalks
Make sure to wash your veggies and fruit I always run mine under water and rinse them. 

I purchased mason jars and actually find them useful for juicing. I used a mason jar to drink my Juice from. I like the mason jar because it gives more room for your juice.

There are so many benefits to Juicing! 
Broccoli has phytonutrients and anti-oxidants. This helps boost our defense mechanisms and stimulates production of antibodies to fight cancer!
Pears are a wonderful source of water-soluble fiber. They have vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E, folate and niacin. It is also rich in copper, phosphorus and potassium, with lesser amounts of calcium, chlorine, iron, magnesium, sodium and sulfur. The pectin in pears is diuretic and have a mild laxative effect. Drinking pear juice regularly helps regulate bowel movements.

Let me start by saying HAPPPPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!! This is my first post of the year and yes I am going to tell you about a different weight loss approach I have taken that is finally doing me justice!

I am on the clock to get back in shape I have some photo shoots coming up that I’m really excited about!!! So…

As most of us know being a mom is tough we work so hard to take care of our little ones that we kind of put ourselves last. Well I was on a low fat diet that DID now work due to me moving and school and work. So I started researching other options of what I could possibly do. I needed something that was going to give me results to motivate me! Well while shopping the isles of Walmart one night I saw these Atkins starter kits. I’ve heard of the Atkins diet but never really wanted to invest my time to learn about it. I decided why not let me read the book and see what it’s about! I read the book in one day. The next day I went to buy the foods and started my Atkins journey December 30, 2013. I must say so far I have lost 4 pounds so about a pound a day which is NOT bad at all. Even though the very first day I had the worst headache and felt somewhat ill it was worth it! I now have energy I haven’t had since before I had my daughter! I’ve been tempted to work out but am holding out until I’m done with the induction phase. I am planning to do the induction phase for a month since I want to lose about 50 pounds! Honestly if anyone is considering Atkins I say go for it! I’m not left hungry and I don’t get cravings. Who wouldn’t want to eat bacon and eggs for breakfast?? Lol if any one is reading this and has tried the Atkins diet please share your success story with me!  This is the book I read and keep with me for reference.

Two Day Detox…… Results

Well today is the end of the two day detox I started, and I must say…
I feel soooo damn good! I feel more energetic and a lot less BLOATED. After today I am starting a new meal plan which I’m very excited about, but this post is about the detox. Let me show you what I ate in two days… I drank only green tea and water. I think this is a PERFECT way to restart your body to continue a healthy lifestyle.

A fast way to lose weight….

It takes a long time of intense study of the human body to realize the balance of metabolism, fat cells and side effects that can result in weight loss while staying healthy. The HCG diet was discovered quite by accident by Doctor A.T.W. Simeons over 50 years ago as he worked to cure malnutrition in underdeveloped villages.

HCG, or human chorionic gonadotropin is the hormone that Simeons discovered in pregnant women. While observing healthy women during their pregnancy, he noticed that as soon as the child was born, the health of the mother began to deteriorate. There had to be a reason and this is when HCG was discovered. This naturally occurring hormone is created by the body to nourish and protect the fetus by taking the stored fat reserves and changing to nutrition for the placenta. What is the HCG diet???
There are three different types of fat found in the body. Structural fat is found nestled between the skin and organs and is necessary as a protective layer. Normal reserve fat is the layer that supplies the body with energy when calorie intake is too low. The abnormal fat is what forms as extra fat in hips, waist, thighs and buttocks and is not used for anything. This is the only fat that is consumed by HCG. Many ask why a low calorie diet would not lead to the same results. The facts are simple. By starving your body of protein and vitamins, it will take whatever is needed from any type of fat, including structural and normal reserve fats. As you enter into Phase 2 of the program, an average weight loss of 1-2 pounds per day will be seen. You continue for the amount of days that it takes to get to a desired weight. Going into Phase 3, continue on the 500-calorie diet for two days to allow the HCG to completely leave your system. No more treatments should then be needed.

Clinics and physicians have used the HCG protocol successfully for many years. Measured injections of this hormone in combination of a strict lean diet have brought about life changing results in many people that have tried several different diets.
