The Ultimate Vacation Packing List

It’s that time of year…..VACATION TIME!! This year we have opted to travel within the US and will be traveling to


Miami, Florida! Ahhh The last time I was in Miami was back in 2012 as a young wild and free hot thang haha. We truly had an amazing time and this time around it will be a vacation for my family and I. HEY that doesn’t mean I can’t bring sexy back right?!!! Ha ha ha let me stay on track here the point of this post is to be as helpful as possible and share my packing list with you guys! Packing is truly one of my favorite parts of traveling, but it can be somewhat stressful when you’re packing for more than just yourself! When packing for your trip think about or try to picture what you’ll be doing. For example, I see myself waking up in 80 degree weather doing a KICK ass HIIT workout and being a beach bunny until the sun goes down then maybe a nice dinner or something to dress up for and enjoy a night on the town at a kid friendly place. As I’ve gained experience traveling I must say traveling light is key! I try to choose pieces that mix and match and pretty much serve a double purpose.

In your carry on bag you want to take of course chargers for your phone/camera/iPad/laptop if traveling with one. A coloring book or activity book for the plane is also a great way to keep your little one entertained. I like to read a book from my iPad or watch Netflix if the flight offers WIFI. I do plan on traveling with a stroller and booster seat for the car rental. Do not forget your important travel documents such as Itineraries, State ID/Driver License/Passport. If you can email yourself a copy of a photo of these just incase thats also a great idea. I always get to the airports super early so I can relax before boarding the plane and make sure my little one is comfy. Ive been traveling with her since she was an infant and she is used to the travel process but for first time parents it can seem a bit daunting. TRUST me its not so bad and once you get through this flight you will want to travel more with your little one. Also a lollipop is great for younger kids as the plane takes off so they are more distracted from the ear pressure. All in all this is my packing list and advice for traveling feel free to suggest any other tips that make your traveling easier!

If you’re  anything of a fitness freak/enthusiast or just someone who is always looking for new recipes to try I have

the perfect morning starter for you! The other morning I was thinking of something easy and healthy to make and had a craving for pancakes! I said to myself “OK, Im trying to eat healthy here.” I began to look up different recipes and made one to cater to my fitness needs/goals. Take a look and try this yummy recipe for yourself! You won’t regret it!

Ingredients:
2 scoops of Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Large Banana
1/8 tsp of Cinnamon
1/4 tsp of Baking Soda
1/4 tsp of Salt
2 Eggs

Add One Scoop of Protein to your egg whites

Real Techniques Gel Brush Cleanser!

I had a bottle of this cleanser unopened in one of my vanity drawers. The packaging of the bottle is nice. I ran out of the face wash I normally use to clean my makeup brushes and had no choice but to open my Real Techniques Gel cleanser. I must say the smell was

amazing, I couldn’t believe how fresh and clean the scent was. When I poured a small amount on my real techniques brush cleaner tool the small amount went a long way. It worked exactly how I would expect a good cleanser to work, it made more than enough bubbles to make me feel good about the cleanliness of my brush. I didn’t have to overuse product and my brushes came out super clean! I definitely recommend this brush cleanser. Its affordable and won’t break the bank, and the smell is AMAZING! I am going to post a Vlog on this review to show you guys how awesome this cleanser is, I’l wash some brushes so you can see how clean they come out. This product is definitely a must have for all beauty lovers out there!

 

Best Pizza Ever Recipe

THANK the kitchen gods for Kitchen Aid Mixers!!!! I never thought of the endless possibilities I can use my kitchen aid mixer for! Today I woke up and decided to make pizza! Thats right HOME MADE pizza! Everything from scratch and now I
have come to share it with you! So first the things you need to purchase are:

1. Bread Flour 4 cups
2. Sugar 1 teaspoon
3.Dry Yeast 1 packet
4.Salt 1 teaspoon
5. Olive Oil 2 tablespoons and 2 Teaspoons

Start off by mixing your bread flour, sugar, yeast and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer or Kitchen Aid. While the mixer is on, add the water and 2 tablespoons of the oil and let it mix until the dough forms into a ball. If the dough is sticky, add more flour, a tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together in a solid ball. If the dough is too dry, add additional water, 1 tablespoon at a time should be added. Brush the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently roll into a smooth, firm ball.

Then, grease a bowl with the other 2 teaspoons of olive oil, add the dough, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit until it doubles in size for about 1 hour. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and divide it into 2 equal pieces. Cover each with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes.
After you have divided your dough you can roll and flatten to start making your pizza. Add Pizza sauce or whatever ingredients you want and bake!

The next day I finally got up and prepared my first meal, which was mini meatloaves, red cabbage and sweet potato wedges. Nordstrom’s Return Policy

  I hate shopping at most stores because I never keep receipts and I always end up needing to exchange or return what ever it is that I purchased. Well today as I was cleaning out my daughters room I 


came across some
UGGS that she wore maybe twice when she was One year old. Well I saw they had the Nordstrom sticker and they were in the original box. My initial thought was list them online for a quick 20 to 30 bucks but something told me to look up the return policy for Nordstrom. What I learned from researching their website was that they have no return policy and each return is based on a case by case basis! So I immediately deleted my listing for 20.00 online and decided to try and return the uggs for an exchange of the same ones or even a store credit. I mean these shoes were like new and my daughter grew soooo fast that they only fit her for a short time! Well I get to the store and get to the counter and explained why I wanted to return them and the lady who was super polite no questions asked processed my return onto a gift card! That’s right ladies and gentlemen I got my full credit for what I paid onto a gift card. I seriously can not believe how smooth this transaction was and am soooooo thankful because I really want to replace the UGGS with something she can use now that she is 3!  I encourage looking up return policies and getting the most for your money. I know from now on I will do my homework on return policies so that my hard earned dollar doesn’t go to waste.


Oat Flour and Skin Care

As most of you know my journey on Accutane has required lots of patience with my skin. I have been on it for 3 months and my skin is 


SOOOO dry. My face has cleared up so much but I have a thing with messing with my face. It’s such a bad habit I have and have been working on ways to distract myself and keep busy with other things but sometimes I end up messing with my face and scarring it. Tonight in the midst of screwing my face up yet again I started thinking of masks I can use that are natural. Now we know I am HUGE on fitness and eat very healthy which reminds me I am starting a 3 day cleanse tomorrow woot woot VERY excited! Well I was looking in my kitchen cabinet and found some oat flour. I immediately thought to myself well if oatmeal is good as a face mask oat flour may just be a bit better. Now, oat flour has many beauty benefits such as anti-inflammatory properties and is perfect for most skin types, even the most sensitive skin.It ontains saponins, a cleansing agent, and can therefore be used as a mild soap, is moisturizing and helps remove dead skin cells and Oatmeal can help treat acne, eczema, rosacea and rashes. With that being said I have created a paste out of oat flour, water, honey and cinnamon to apply to a problematic area I have been struggling with on my face. I am going to apply this mask overtime I feel like touching that area of my face. I will keep you all updated in about a month to see if any of it has helped me at all and to update you on my four month progress of being on Accutane, but i encourage any of you to try this little recipe as a face mask and share your results or opinions about it.
